Pivithuru Hela Urumaya says the Police’s conduct in handling the case of Udaya Gammanpila is suspicious.

Udaya Gammanpila was arrested with regard to an incident of selling shares to an Australian firm using a forged power of attorney.

Elaborating on the incident, Thushara Dissanaike says that Bribery and Corruption commission has received complaints against 74 politicians during 2002 to 2014.

Among them are Duminda Dissanaike, Luxman Kiriella, Kabir Hasheem, Dilan perera, Faizer Musthapa, A.H.M. Fouzie, Mahinda Samarasinghe and Reginold Cooray.

Thushara Dissanaike says that the documents regarding these high profile ministers are decaying at the Bribery commission.

He further says some politicians are fishing in muddy water when an opponent struggles in hot water.

Pointing out Hirunika Premachndra’s opportunistic behavior after appearing in the Parliament after a long time like a comet appears in the sky after centuries, Thushara Dissanaike condemned how Hirunika blamed Gammanpila when she has been directly involved in a number of illegal activities.

He further warned Hirunika that people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stone at others.
