At least eight people were killed and one seriously injured after a fire broke out around 6 am at a Medical Store in Mumbai, India.
The medical store on Wireless Road is located on the ground floor of the building, while families were staying at the first and second floors.
According to India media reports, a cylinder kept in the medical store is suspected to have exploded, resulting in the fire.
However, the exact cause of the blaze would be ascertained after a proper inquiry, reportedly.
The victims were rushed to the nearby Cooper Hospital.
Ouf the eight killed, five were children.
Mumbai Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
