The Ministry of Health says patients entering government hospitals obtaining blood tests privately will be forbidden starting in the month of December.

The ministry noted that measures have been taken to provide all hospitals with equipment necessary for laboratory services to provide blood tests.

The Health ministry added that it is currently prohibited to obtain blood tests privately for patients admitted to the general hospital and that it is the responsibility of the ministry to provide patients with this facility.
