South Korean military has claimed that North Korea has test-fired a ballistic missile from a submarine.
According to the reports the missile was launched in waters east of the Korean peninsula.
UN resolutions banned the country from using ballistic missile technology. Despite severe warnings the launch comes as the latest of its series of tests.
The South Korean military says the missile was launched at about 11:30 local time (02:30 GMT) off North Korea's port of Sinpo.
