Sigiriya wasp attack leaves 24 tourists in hospital

At least 24 people including eight foreign tourists were rushed to the Kimbissa hospital when they were attacked by wasps while visiting Sigiriya.

Seven Chinese tourists and an Italian national are among the injured.

The local tourists, who were also hospitalized, were headed from Bibila and Narammala areas.
