Farmers in Karangawa area, Ampara complaints that their paddy is dying due to the lack of water.

About 30 to 40 acres of paddy were destroyed from the 200 acres in the area, farmers said.

They said that officials concerned have failed to manage the water they obtain from the Karangawa tank in Ampara.
