Ex-Commander of Army Field Marshall Minister Sarath Fonseka says according to the existing constitution of Sri Lanka, international judges cannot be involved during the judicial process to investigate alleged human rights violations during the conflict with the LTTE.

The Former Commander however said foreign representatives can participate in investigations as observers.

Field Marshall Minister Sarath Fonseka stressed that foreign representatives should not be allowed to participate in the investigations as Judges.

Speaking at an event held in Colombo yesterday (14), Minister Sarath Fonseka said the process will be done in accordance with the existing law in the country.
