The Tamil National Alliance says that it will not make any changes to the proposals put forward with regard to the Constitutional amendments.
The leader of the alliance, Opposition leader R. Sampanthan expressed these views to the media in Vavuniya yesterday.
Following a discussion held with the leaders of the Tamil National Alliance, he added that the new constitution should not be one that is only accepted by the political movements of the south.
Moreover matters regarding the provincial council elections were also discussed in Vavuniya.
Opposition leader R Sampanthan added that a final decision will be arrived at in two weeks with regard to the matters discussed.
