Residents Of Polpithigama Files Petition Against Artificial Elephant Corridor

A petition against construction of an artificial corridor allowing wild elephants to enter Hakwatuna reservoir and surrounding villages of Polpithigama was lodged with the Human Rights Commission yesterday (26).

The petition was filed by the residents of the area together with All Ceylon Farmers Federation.
