The Lanka Private Bus Association filed a petition with the Human Rights Commission today complaining that police do not take proper action to prevent protest marches and demonstrations in the city.

Lanka Private Bus Association chairman Gemunu Wijerathna said that bus owners are compelled to bear huge losses due to constant protests on public roads.
