Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe says that one of the main objectives of the new government was to prevent efforts to cause division within the Sanga.

He said so while participating at a religious function held in Kadigamuwa in Rambukkana yesterday.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will leave today on a two day official visit to Indonesia, to attend the 12th World Islamic Economic Forum.

Sri Lanka has been invited, for the first time, to participate in the 12th World Islamic Economic Forum, scheduled to take place from August 2nd to 4th at the Jakarta Convention Centre, in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is scheduled to make a special address at the Inaugural Session of the WIEF.

The Prime Minister is also scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati and Maritime Affairs Minister.

The Premier will also meet several state leaders including the Malaysian Prime Minister and the President of Tajikistan.

Prime Minister will also hold discussions with Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister Jawad al-Anani.
