Commissioner General of Examinations Jayantha Pushpakumara says arrangements have been finalized for this year's

GCE Advanced Level Examination, which commences tomorrow. 315 thousand 652 candidates will sit for the examination at 2,204 centers, situated throughout the island. Out of them

240 thousand 991 are school candidates. A staff of 27,500 will be deployed for administration activities. The Exams Chief requests all candidates to inform any amendment in their admissions to the department as soon as possible.

The Advanced Level examination will commence at 8.30 am. Therefore, it is important for candidates to be present at the examination center at least half an hour before the exam. Having mobile phones and Bluetooth devices in their possession is a reason to ban examination for five years.
