The GCE Advanced Level Exam Invigilator, who reported late to the examination Centre at Henegama Vidyalaya, has been removed from his duties.
Consequent to the absence of the invigilator, the Compound Mathematics paper was distributed one hour after its scheduled time, when the GCE Advanced Level examination commenced this morning at the Centre of Henegama Vidyalaya.
Although the paper had to be distributed at 8.30am, however, the paper was distributed at 9.30am.
However the Department of Examination took prompt action to offer sufficient time for candidates to compensate the delay.
240,991 school candidates and 74,614 private candidates are sitting the GCE Advance Level Examination which started last (02nd) morning at 2204 centers throughout the island.
