Two school principals interdicted for aiding , cheating at the Advance-Level exam
The Principals of Nuwara Eliya St. Zavier College and Naththandiya Kottaramulla Al Hijra Vidyalaya have been interdicted for allegedly aiding and abetting cheating of the Advanced Level Examination.
Commissioner General of Examinations, W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara told our news team that the provincial education directors have decided to interdict the two principals.
The two principals are accused of allowing external candidates to sit the examination through the school candidate list.
The two principals had deceitfully got external candidates enlisted as school candidates expecting them to be selected to universities as specific Z-score marks are lower in the two districts.
Meanwhile, addressing a media conference in Colombo today, State Education Minster V. Radhakrishnan said no candidate will be allowed to sit the examination from other district than in his or her registered district.
