A new journey whilst identifying and addressing crises; Prime Minister says in China
China has said that they would extend their fullest support in transforming Sri Lanka in to a financial hub in South Asia.
Mayor of Chong-Jing Huang Jifan and other officials had expressed these views when they met with visiting Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The Chinese had said that it was only Asia that was somewhat safe from the global economic crisis.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe during the discussion had said that under the leadership of President Maithripala Sirisena, the unity government would identify the new financial and social trends as well as crises affecting the work and would tread upon a new journey to achieve sustainable economic development.
The Prime Minister had said that the end objective was to transform Sri Lanka in to a financial hub in South Asia.
Mayor of Chong-Jing Huang Jifan had also said that the need for a financial city between Singapore and Dubai is increasing.
