Human rights petition filed against Indian Fishermen

All Island Common Fisheries Association, has lodged a complaint with the Human rights commission stating that the rights of fishermen of the north has been breached due to Indian fishermen poaching in local waters.

The national convener of the association, JVP former southern provincial council MP  Ratna Gamage stated that the government has failed to provide a solution for this issue.
