Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe says that the next decade will be the turning point of the Economy of Sri Lanka.
The Prime Minister has stated that the government will soon announce the national economic policy of Sri Lanka and the incentives the country expects to offer foreign investors.
The Premier, who is on a five-day official visit to China to observe development projects in mega cities, held discussions with the representatives of the Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Company.
The Chongqing Company is among the first 100 leading multinational companies in China.
During discussions the Premier also noted that foreign investors can approach a wider global market through Sri Lanka, as the island is planning to enter into free trade agreements with several other countries.
