Six schools to be completely closed for A/L paper marking

Six schools will be closed for 2016 Advanced Level examination paper marking, the Department of Examinations said.

The markings will take place from 29 August to 15 September.

The six schools are Colombo Royal College, Nalanda College, Kandy Viharamahadevi Vidyalaya, Swarnamali Vidyalaya, Seethawaka Balika Vidyalaya and Jaffna Hindu Ladies College.

A total of 21 schools including Colombo Visakha Vidyalaya, Gampaha Bandaranaike, Kurunegala Maliyadeva, Kandy Kingswood and Matara Sujatha will be closed partially.

These schools will reopen on the 31st this month.
