A group of Joint Opposition MPs handed over a letter to Speaker Karu Jayasuriya, today.

The MPs stated in the letter that the Draft Bill to establish an office for missing persons was not passed in parliament under the provisions of the Constitution.

Addressing the media, General Secretary of the Pivituru Hela Urumaya Udaya Gammanpila said that there is a possibility of bringing a no confidence motion of against the speaker, if he signs the act on establishing an office for Missing Persons.
