The five relatives of slain businessman Mohammad Suleiman who were banned from traveling abroad were summoned to the Colombo Crime Division to submit statements.
Police stated that investigators are expecting the statements to be made today.
Police also are scrutinizing the CCTV footages collected from Mawanella, Hemmathagama and Rukulegama where Suleiman’s body was found.
Judicial Medical Officer of Kegalle Teaching hospital Dr. Ramesh Alagiyawanna who conducted the post mortem reported that the victim received two blows to the head resulting in internal bleeding which led to his death.
Mohammad Suleiman was abducted on the night of August 21st when returning home after a party.
