A group from Dambulla Economic Traders Associations is protesting near the clock tower in Dambulla, demanding a reasonable price be assigned for big onions.

Our correspondent stated that the Kandy- Dambulla A9 road as well as the Dambulla- Kurunegala A6 road have been blocked due to the protest.

With over 1000 protestors participating in the protest, the trade activities at the economic center were disrupted in the morning.
