International award winning actress Malani Fonseka was hospitalized due to a heart ailment, reports say.

She has also undergone a surgery at a private hospital in Colombo.

Her relatives said a Bodhi Pooja will be held at Bellanwila Rajamaha Viharaya today for the actress.
