Joint Opposition lodges a complaint to Bribery Commission against PM and Arjuna Mahendran

The Joint Opposition filed a complaint today with the Commission to Investigate Allegations on Bribery or Corruption, against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran.

The complaint charges that the Prime Minister and former Central Bank Governor are connected to the Central Bank Bond scam.

The complainants also request that the Bribery Commission investigate the incident and take legal action against its culprits.

Ten MPs including Wasudeva Nanayakkara, Bandula Gunawardana, Keheliya Rambukwella, Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Janaka Bandara Tennakoon and NFF MP Weerakumara Dissanayake were present at the Bribery Commission to hand over the complaint.
