Police said that the 5 Indian kidney racketeers who were arrested recently while fleeing have spent their money at night clubs.
The suspects who fled from the Mirihana detention camp on November 8th were arrested again 3 days later.
They were preparing to escape to India by sea.
Police also said that further investigations are continuing based on the information gathered from the mobile phones used by the suspects.
Meanwhile police arrested a local fish monger who allegedly offered a means for the suspects to travel to India at a cost of 500,000 rupees.
The Indian suspects have been remanded until November 24 at which time they will be produced before the Colombo chief magistrate.
The local fish monger was released on bail after being produced before Mannar Magistrate A.G. Alex.
