Prevailing showery condition is likely to enhance during next few days (during 18-21 November 2016), due to an atmospheric disturbance has formed to the southeast of Sri Lanka in the Bay of Bengal.

This would affect Southern, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Western, Eastern and Uva provinces particularly.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Northern, Eastern, Southern and Uva provinces.

Showers or thundershowers will occur elsewhere particularly after 2.00 p.m. Heavy falls (about 100mm) can be expected at some places, particularly in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces during the morning.
