New Sri Lankan High Commissioner presents credentials to Queen Elizabeth II
Sri Lanka's new High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Amari Mandika Wijewardene presented her Credentials to Queen Elizabeth II on November 15 at a ceremonial event held at the Buckingham Palace.
High Commissioner Wijewardene had a very cordial discussion with Her Majesty The Queen. She extended the warmest felicitations of President Maithripala Sirisena to Queen Elizabeth II.
High Commissioner Wijewardene was appointed the Acting High Commissioner in the United Kingdom following Dr. Christ Nonis resigned from the post recently.
