The case against seven including NFF leader Wimal Weerawansa over the protest launched during United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Prince Zeid Ra'ad Al-Hussein’s visit to Sri Lanka was fixed to February 08.

The case was postponed after it was taken up at the Colombo Magistrate’s Court.

Cinnamon Gardens Police filed the case stating that the protest disrupted the public.

Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya also issued notice for the seventh suspect, Chaminda Jayalal, who failed to report to courts.
