The suspects were released by Colombo Additional Magistrate Aruni Attygalle on two surety bails this morning.

In addition, the suspects were banned from leaving the country and ordered them to report to Jaffna Police Station every other fortnight.

Parliament was told recently that 38 members out of 62 of the Aava group were arrested by Terrorism Investigation Unit.

Law and Order Minister Sagala Rathnayake told parliament that Kumareshwar Vinodan alias Aava who is believed to be the leader of the group was also among the arrested.
