GMOA strike to continue; Minster says it is a misunderstanding

The token strike launched by the GMOA at 8am this morning will continue until 8am tomorrow.

Hospital directors said that daily clinical functions of government hospitals where the strike was staged were crippled.  

However, emergency services continued without any disturbance.

GMOA started the strike from 8am today stating the state service and free health service are being influenced by Budget proposals.

The Medical Services United Front also joined in the GMOA’s token strike.

Our correspondent stated that certain individuals who were part of the strike, engaged in protest campaigns in front of hospitals.
