Ten thousand metric tonnes of rice imported to enable price control

Minister of Rural Economic Affairs P. Harrison says that in order to prevent the market price increase of paddy, measures will be taken to import and distribute 10,000 metric tonnes of paddy.

Expressing his views to the media yesterday he noted that this would be implemented through Sathosa.
