On day 7 of The Sathyagraha, Hambanthota – Maagampura port employees are observing sil in front of the port entrances today.

In related news ,On the 10th of December the Navy Commader Vice Admiral Ravindra C Wijegunaratne assaulted and reprimanded a journalist from hiru using obscene language.

The journalist was reporting on the tense situation that had erupted due to the Sathyagraha that was launched on the 7th of December.

The journalist from hiru filed a complaint with police, and an investigation into the incident commenced under the patronage of the Assistant Superintendant of Police Prasanna Alwis yesterday.
