There is a risk of dengue spreading in 10 districts, the Ministry of Health says.

Director General of Health Services Dr. Palitha Mahipala attending a press conference yesterday said Galle, Gampaha, Colombo and Ampara districts are at most risk. 

In December, thus far, 4242 were issued red notices while cases were filed against 939 following searched in 112,238 premises, the Ministry stated.

More premises checks will be conducted today and tomorrow (31).

Seventy-seven people died of dengue this year, while 48, 682 were admitted to the hospital after falling sick for it.
