Former President MP Mahinda Rajapaksa says that he has no intention to tour in India in the near future.

However, Indian Premier Narendra Modi extended an open invitation to him during his visit to Sri Lanka in March 2015, MP Rajapaksa said.

He said this in reply after he was asked if he would visit India as he toured in China, Japan and Malaysia after he lost the Presidential Election.

He claimed that Indian and Western forces got together to defeat him. When asked how this took place, the former president said he is still looking into the matter.

The former president accused India of staying silent when China is investing more with the current government. He said India is mum over the promise of getting Trincomalee and Kankesanthurai Harbours and also the Palaly airport under its rule.
