The protesters who abstained from ticket sale for the last two days engaged in an agitation today as well.

Addressing the media, chairman of lottery sales agents association Krishantha Marambage said the government lost nearly 25 million rupees due to their strike.

8 representatives of protesters were conducted by police for discussion with the officials of the Presidential Secretariat.

Later police closed Lotus road to prevent other protesters marching towards the Presidential secretariat.
