Sri Lankan government has been invited to the inauguration of US President elect Donald Trump.

Sri Lankan ambassador Prasad Kariyawasam is scheduled attend the ceremony on behalf of the Sri Lankan government.

President elect Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 45th President of the United States on January 20th.

Former US presidents Jimi Carter, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barrack Obama have confirmed their participation.

Donald Trump’s arch rival Hilary Clinton has also confirmed that she will be attending the swearing in ceremony on Friday.
