The Meteorological Department states that the rainy weather prevailing in some parts of the island will disappear as the existing air turbulence in the atmosphere close to the island will fade away tomorrow.

The highest rainfall during the past 24 hours ended at 8.30 am today which was reported from Akkaraipattu.

Meanwhile, Ampara received 185 mili meter rainfall while Deeghawapiya received 178 milli metre rainfall.
