Scientists are going to measure Mount Everest to see if the world's highest mountain has shrunk.

There are fears that recent earthquakes in Nepal may have had an effect on the famous peak, causing it to shrink.

A powerful 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck Nepal on 25 April 2015, killing thousands and also triggering an avalanche on the mountain in the Himalayas.

It was the strongest earthquake in the country for more than 80 years and tremors could be felt hundreds of miles away.
