MP Namal Rajapaksa asked to report to the FCID once in two months

Colombo Additional Magistrate Jayaram Trotsky ordered MP Namal Rajapaksa and five others to report to FCID on last Sunday of every two months.

The order was issued when two Cases against the six suspects for violating Money Laundering Act and amassed 45 million rupees was taken up.

MP Namal Rajapaksa has been accused of abuse of power in these two cases.

Magistrate also issued open warrants on two suspects who have fled the country and ordered to arrest them with the assistance of Interpol.

The two suspects on the flee are Indika Prabhath Karunajeewa and Iresha Silva.

Both have served as directors of two private companies owned by Namal Rajapaksa.
