Three persons who were involved in illegal timber trafficking in the Silawatura – Karadakkuli area were arrested.

In a joint raid carried out yesterday by the Navy, officials of Forest Conservation Department and Silawatura police officials, they were able to discover a stock of Palu timber that was cut down illegally along with some equipment and tools used to fell down the trees.
