The visiting China Communist party members met Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today.

Addressing the delegation, the Premier said that the current policy of Sri Lanka is to maintain friendly ties with every country without posing any threat.

He also extended China his appreciation for its contribution to construct the Hambantota Port and the Colombo Financial City Project.

Responding to Prime Minister Wickremesinghe, Chinese minister who led the delegation said that China and Sri Lanka have successfully preserved its friendship on every occasion despite local or international changes of the political map of Sri Lanka.
