The 34th UN Human Rights Council sessions commences in Geneva, Switzerland today.

High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Hussein Al Ra'ad will also to present the report on Human Rights in Sri Lanka.

Foreign Affairs Minister Mangala Samaraweera and his delegation left the island yesterday to take part in the sessions. The Minister is due to address the sessions today.
