Health Min. deploys 100 assistants to control dengue issue in Kinniya

The Ministry of Health has decided to deploy 100 assistants to control dengue mosquito crises in Kinniya area, Trincomalee.

The group, who is among the 500 officials selected to eradicate mosquito breeding in Colombo, will be deployed in Kinniya following their training today.

Fifteen people have died in Trincomalee district from dengue fever. A 29-year-old pregnant mother is the most recent fatality. She died yesterday.
