NFF leader MP Wimal Weerawansa is to be further remanded until April 3rd, when he was produced before the Court for allegations against him, for the misuse of state vehicles.

The case against MP Weerawansa for allegedly leasing 40 vehicles owned by the State Engineering Corporation and, assigning them for the use of his family relatives and party activists, thereby incurring a loss of 90 million rupees to the government, was taken for hearing today.

Meanwhile, a ruling over the bail application filed by Weerawansa with the Colombo High Court is scheduled to be announced tomorrow.
