Results of the GCE Ordinary Level examination held last December have been released online.

Accordingly results could be obtained by logging on to www.goldfmnews.lk or www.doenets.lk.

Results will be posted to all Schools today while results of Private Applicants will also be posted shortly.

The Examinations Department stated that further inquiries regarding results could be obtained by calling the hotline 1911.

Anuki Chamathka Pasquel of Visakha Vidyalaya won 1st Place in the GCE Ordinary Level Examination 2016, while S M Munasinghe of Mahamaya Vidyalaya in Kandy was placed 2nd.

The 3rd Place was shared jointly by Sugath Ravindu Sanwara of Ananda College and Dimuth Oshadhi Mirissage of Matara Rahula Vidyalaya.

551, 340 students sat for the examination last year.

Examinations Commissioner General W M N J Pushpakumara stated that applications for re-correction should be made before the 30th of April.
