There is a high risk for influenza AH1N1 to spread in the Central Province.

It is reported that 204 people caught the disease and 17 others dis of it.

A pregnant mother is among the dead.

Meanwhile, Deputy Director General of Public Health Services, Ministry of Health, Dr. Sarath Amunugama said the virus is also reported in Puttalam, Hambantota and Trincomalee areas.

Patients suffering from fever and colds are advised to seek medical assistance.
