Indecent drunk troop invades Kaudulla National Park making the elephants go wild

Kaudulla National Park was invaded by a group of drunk locals yesterday (02nd) at about 4.00pm disturbing the habitat of the elephants of the Park.

According to a team of safari guides, apart from the group of drunk men who have arrived in a vehicle, two more individuals have illegally entered into the park premises in a motor bike.

Our news correspondent said that the officials of Department of Forests and Wildlife arrived when a heated argument commenced between the drunk men and the safari guides inside the premises.

These suspects who were arrested are suspected to be in close relationships with a powerful person, according to the safari guides.

Later, the suspects were to be presented to the Bakamuna Magistrate today.

These suspects have been identified as residents in Ja-Ela
