It has been decided to appoint MPs of the ruling party in order to assess district level institutions under the ministry of finance.

Over 50 MPs have been appointed for this purpose.

The appointees are to be vested with the responsibility of evaluating several departments under the finance ministry including the Excise Department and Inland Revenue Department.

The primary focus is to be directed toward the implementation of proper working mechanisms and government earnings.

The government has decided to appoint these MP’s on a volunteer basis with no perks or privileges being offered to them in return.
