55 kilograms of Kerala Marijuana recovered from Delft Island

A stock of 55.202 kilograms of Kerala grass has been recovered from the Valli Aaru coastal area of Delft Island.

The narcotics were packaged in 5 and 4 kilogram packets at the time they were discovered by the Sri Lanka navy.

Police said the value of the stock cannot be estimated as water and sand had mixed in with the drugs.
