President orders to provide relief to affected groups in Meethotamulla

President Maithripala Sirisena has advised relevant officials to submit a report regarding the Meethotamulla garbage disposal collapse within five days.

He said this during a meeting held regarding the issue at the Ministry of Disaster Management last morning.

The meeting was held to discuss matters regarding the relocation of the garbage disposal.

The President further advised the officials to aid affected people without thinking about funds.
