PM goes to Vietnam

The state official welcome ceremony of Premier Ranil Wickremesinghe, who is currently in a four-day official tour in Vietnam, was held at Vietnam President’s residence today. PM’s media stated that the Prime Minister and Vietnam’s President held bilateral discussions following the ceremony. 

Prime Minister Wickremesinghe visited Vietnam following an invitation from his counterpart there.

The visit is aimed at improving economic and political ties between the countries.
